BOWLING, Alice VanSickle - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Alice Bowling, 92, life resident of Fountain County died at 3:00 p.m. Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Theron Coffing, near Veedersburg. Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Osborne Prairie Church with Rev. JC Shrigley officiating.Interment was in the adjacent cemetery with the Parham Funeral Home in charge.  Mrs. Bowling was born August 29, 1854 near Covington, daughter of Samuel and Carolyn Dunklebarger VanSickle. She was married Oct 15, 1872 to Morris Bowling, whop receded her in death 29 years ago. She was a member of the Osborn Prairie Christian Church. Surviving besides the daughter, Mrs. Coffing, are two sons, Fredof Villa Grove and Carl of Decatur, Ill.  13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren also survive.   --- kbz
