BOWERS, Claudine Clark - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Claudine Clark Bowers, age 58, died at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday Jan 7 (1964) at the Small Nursing Home in Waynetown. She had been a resident of Covington for 35 years and had been ill since last February. Born in Denver, Colorado, Feb 22, 1905 she was the daughter of Henry Wallace and Clara Mae Armeriman Clark. She married Gardner Bowers in Feb 1938. She is survived by her mother who lives in Livermore, Calif; two sons, Gardner of Veedersburg and Robert of Covington; two daughters, Mrs Letitia Jones Veedersburg and Mrs. Amber Brewer of Covington; one brother Jack Clark of St. Louis Mo; five sisters, Mrs. Lotus Harper of Lake Worth, Fl; Mrs. Dee Metts, Boyten Beach, Fl; Mrs. Ray Haun of Livermore, Calif; Mrs. Afton Davis, Livermore Calif; and Mrs. Otheal Anderson of Philadephia PA; 9 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. The body is at Hegg Funeral Home, Covington and can be seen after noon today Jan 8. Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday January 9 at 2 p.m. Rev. Glenn Bay will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
