BOWEN, Maude Hamilton - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Veedersburg—Mrs. Maude E. Bowen, 86, of Veedersburg Route 3, died at 8:32 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, 1974, at the Community Hospital in Williamsport. She had been a patient there 12 hours and had been ill the last 10 years. She had been residing at the Woodland Manor Nursing Home in Attica.

  She was born Aug. 31, 1887, in Clark Hill. She was married in 1912 in Tippecanoe County to Andrew Bowen, who died in 1953.

  She had formerly resided in Detroit, Mich. and Lafayette. She had moved to the Veedersburg area two years ago.

  Survivors include two sons, Raymond P. of Veedersburg Route 3, and Robert A. of Detroit, Mich.; a brother, Claude E. Hamilton of Cloverdale; nine grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and a niece.

  Services were at 1 p.m. Monday at the Fisher Funeral Home in Attica, with burial in Clarks Hill Cemetery at Clarks Hill. - kbz
