Covington, Ind.—Miss Julie Elaine Bowen, 18, formerly of Covington, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 21, 1974) following an accident on State Route 22, west of Kokomo.
She was born Jan. 27, 1956, in Lebanon, Ind., the daughter of Roy and Laura Wagner Bowen. She graduated with honors from Northwestern High in Kokomo this spring.
Survivors include her parents; two sisters, Mrs. Harold (Sherry) White of Anderson, Ind., and Miss Teena Bowen at home; and two brothers, Alvin of Columbia, S. C., and Steven of Bunker Hill.
Services were at 10 a.m. Saturday at Bible Baptist Church in Kokomo. Burial was at Sunset Memory Gardens. -s
