 Gladys E. Bossaer of RR 2, Attica, age 80, died Wednesday morning, May 11, in Williamsport Community Hospital. She was born at Indianapolis, January 1, 1903, the daughter of William S. and Julia Bacon Smith. June 30, 1920, she married Joseph Bossaer, who died March 23, 1968. Mrs. Bossaer was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Attica, where she served as organist for many years. She was a 1918 graduate of Central Business College in Indianapolis and moved to Attica in 1926.

  Surviving are a daughter, Joan Martin of Waukegan, Illinois; two sons, Charles of RR 2, Attica, and Franklin of Romney; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

  The body was taken from Maus Funeral Home in Attica to St. Francis Xavier Church for funeral services Saturday morning with Rev. Edward Matuszak officiating. Burial was in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S

Attica - Mrs. Gladys E. Bossaer, 80 of Rt 2, Attica died at 4:15 a.m. today in Community Hospital, Williamsport. Born in Indianapolis she was a 1918 graduate of Central Business College there.  In 1920 she was married in North Vernon to Joseph Bossaer who died in 1968.  Mrs. Bossaer formerly worked as a seamstress.  She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and formerly was the church organist.  Surviving are two sons, Charles Bossaer of Rt 2, Attica; Franklyn Bossaer of Rt 1, Romney and a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Joan) Martin of Waukegan, Ill. - kbz
