BORST, Lucille Edith - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Attica – Lucille Edith Borst, formerly of 411 E Jackson St died at 6:25 p.m. Thursday on her 82nd birthday in St. Vincent’s Hospital in Indianapolis.  She was living at Country Care Nursing Center in Williamsport.  Mrs. Borst was a housekeeper for Paul Clawson for 25 years.  Born in Mellott on Jan 24, 1909 she attended Mellott HS and lived in LaPorte and Veedersburg before moving to Attica in 1954.  She married Henry George Borst on Aug 31, 1927 in West Point.  He died March 17, 1951.  Mrs. Borst was a member of Mellott Christian Church and Eagles Lodge 2596 of Attica.  Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Borst of Mount Vernon, Ill and LeRoy G “Lee” Borst of Pampano Beach, Fla and a brother, Merle Million of Veedersburg. --transcribed by kbz
