ATTICA, Ind. — Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Maus Funeral Home for Mrs. Adah R. Borst, 82, a former resident of 401 N. Perry. She died at 5 p.m. Saturday (July 19, 1978) in the Northwest Manor Nursing Home in Indianapolis. She had been a patient there for about three weeks and had resided in Indianapolis for about a year. Dennis Fulton will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Attica. Visitation will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Born Oct. 13, 1895, in Liberty, Ky., she was the daughter of C. W. and Sophia Austin Lanham. On June 12, 1916, in Joliet, Ill., she was married to Fred G. Borst, who died April 30, 1961. He had been a meatcutter in the Borst Brothers' Meat Market in Attica. Mrs. Borst attended Attica High and had been a clerk at Newmark Store in Attica. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Attica and Royal Neighbors Lodge. Survivors include a son, Robert C. of Speedway; two brothers, Farris Lanham of North Ft. Myers, Fla., and Wesley Lanham of New Smyrna, Fla.; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
