Mrs. Carrie Boot, 73, died Sunday night at her home in Newtown, after being in failing health with a heart ailment for the past two years. She was born July 30, 1879 near Newtown, daughter of Edgar and Louisa Voliva Keyt. She was married to Pleasant View Boot who preceded her in death in 1946. Surviving are a son, Leland of Newtown and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at the Newtown Methodist Church of which she was a member. – kbz
