COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Lena Boord, 81, resident of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Covington, died at 12:03 p.m. Friday (Feb. 1, 1974) at the Nebraska Methodist Hospital in Omaha, Neb. She was born Feb. 24, 1892, in Fountain County, Ind., daughter of Robert and Nancy Feller Bever. She was married to Samuel S. Boord Aug. 12, 1916, and he preceded her in death June 9, 1956. Survivors include son, Samuel Leroy Boord of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Mrs. Russell (Catherine) South of New Haven, Ind., 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Crosby-Kunold-Burket Funeral Home in Omaha, Neb. The Rev. Dr. Harvey Throop will officiate. The body will be returned to the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home in Covington for burial in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
