BOOE, Ruby Kennedy - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

HILLSBORO—Funeral services were this afternoon for Mrs. Ruby K. Booe, 66, Hillsboro. She died Friday afternoon in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. Evangelist Darrell Dennis of Indianapolis officiated at the service. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. She was a member of Hillsboro United Methodist Church and attended school in West Lebanon. Her hobbies were sewing and gardening. Mrs. Booe was born April 14, 1912, at West Lebanon, a daughter of Alexander and Paulina (Sheilds) Kennedy. She married Orville E. Booe. He preceded her in death. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Hilda Teegaurden of Covington, Mrs. Linda Kester of Linden and Mrs. Thelma Mathis and Mrs. Joyce Lyons, both of Hillsboro; a son, Fred Booe of Hillsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Juanita Knee of Peoria, Ill., and Mrs. Evelyn Cole of Danville, Ill. ; a brother, Faye Kennedy of Murray, Ky.; 15 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
