She was born Aug 22, 1906 in Fountain County, the daughter of Samuel & Gertrude Sexton McCollum. Survivors include 4 sons: Russell Jr. and James of Veedersburg; and Robert & William both of Danville, Ill; 3 brothers, Fred McCollum of Lafayette; Ernest McCollum West Covina, Calif; and Ray McCollum of Veedersburg; 3 sisters, Mrs. Ross (Bertha ) Taylor of Danville; Mrs. Pearl Hunt of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Gilbert (Blanche) Pettit of Waynetown; 9 grandchildren and 5 greats. Funeral arrangements are pending at Parham Funeral home Veedersburg.
