ord was received last Thursday by Mrs. Robert Dice of the death of her cousin, Fred S. Booe, Bunnell, Florida Wed evening June 10. Fred was born Feb 20, 1886 on the old James M. Booe farm, east of Steam Corner, son of Zeb E. and Ida Coffing Booe. He spent his boyhood and young manhood on the farm, moving with his family to Veedersburg in 1905. He was the ticket agent at the New York Central (Big Four) depot for several years before taking up his residence in Florida in 1915. There he became a painter and decorator which trade he followed until a several attack of influenza last winter made it impossible for him to resume his work. He leaves one brother, Willie Frank (Bill) Booe with whom he made his home and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Margaret May, Veedersburg is his aunt. Three brothers, a sister and the parents preceded him in death. Funeral services and burial were in Bunnell. - kbz
