BOOE, Daniel V. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Daniel V. Booe, life long resident of Fountain and Montgomery counties, died Sunday of last week at his home two miles south of Alamo just across the Fountain county line in Montgomery county, following a decline in health for four years. His condition had been serious for three weeks. Mr. Booe was born near Veedersburg February 4 1858, the son of John C. and Hannah Drollinger Booe. He was married on November 9 1879 to Sarah S. Reath who survives. He also leaves a daughter, Mrs. Dora C. Alward of Waynetown, a granddaughter Helen Alward who is a teacher in the Elkhart schools, and a grandson, Russell Alward who is a student in the Montgomery College at Montgomery, West Va. Philip Booe of Veedersburg, Solomon Booe of Sullivan and Noah Booe of Crawfordsville are brothers, and Mrs. Lavina Cory of Covington is a sister of the decedent. Buried Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
