Hillsboro, April 21 - George Bolton, 74 for many years a resident of this place died at the home of a sister, Mrs. Belle Warrick in Veedersburg Thursday night at 7:30 o'clock. Death was due to heart trouble. Mr. Bolton had gone to the home of his sister only a short time ago after having spent the wnter in Hillsboro at the home of Mr. and Mrs. WIlliam Weaver. Previous to the past winter he had resided at the home of Harry Hutson, a nephew. Born Oct 23, 1864, he was the son of Thomas and Elizabeth Bolton. He was married many years ago to Mattie Weaver, who preceded him in death. Mr. Bolton was a retired farmer. He was a member fo the United Brethren Church. Survivors include a son, Charles Bolton whose home is at Metropolis, Ill but who at the present is a patient at a veteran's hospital in Mississippi; a daughter, Mrs. Zee Schafer of Memphis, Tenn and his sister, Mrs. Warrick at whose home he died. The body was brought in the home of William Weaver where funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Charles Howard in charge. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery.
