John Reuben Boller of Covington, age 77, died Saturday morning, November 14, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born in White County, December 10, 1903, the son of James William and Mary Elizabeth Suiter Boller. December 24, 1924, he married Emma L. Aaron, who survives. He was a member of Fountain Masonic Lodge and Fountain County Farm Bureau. He farmed in the Salem neighborhood for many years, was also employed in highway construction and later self-employed in livestock and grain hauling.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Mary Lyons of Lafayette and Mrs. Evelyn Crouse of Waynetown; two sons, Lawrence William of Danville and Fred of Covington; seven sisters, Lillie Trombley of Rockville, Alice Tate of Ladoga, Bea Gifford of Jamestown, Thelma Clark of California, Virginia Spencer of Russellville, Jo Anna Keyt of Greencastle and Irene Shuee of Boswell; six brothers, Elijah of Rockville, Leonard of Roachdale, Charles and Robert, both of Russellville, Walter of North Salem and Curt of Bainbridge; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington with Dr. Gregg Curtis officiating. Burial was in Mount Hope Cemetery at Covington.- thanks to S
