WINGATE, Ind. (CNS)— Mrs. Lucille Switzer Bolen, 65, died Wednesday evening (Aug. 20, 1969) after an illness of four months. Born Sept. 24, 1903 near Wingate, she was the daughter of Ora and Maude Armfield Murphy. She was married first to Russell Switzer; they operated a grocery store at Newtown and then at Wingate for several years. She later was married to Ray Bolen of Pendleton. She was a member of the former Pleasant Hill Christian Church and the Order of Eastern Star. She was educated in the Wingate and Waynetown schools. Survivors include a son, Glenn (Bud) Switzer of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Hoffman of New Philadelphia, Ohio; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Robert Murphy of Crawfordsville; a sister, Mrs. Ellen Pittman of Waynetown. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Servies-Thomas Funeral Home in Waynetown. The Rev. Homer Hunsinger will officiate. Burial will be in the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
