Waynetown, Jan 22 -- Ernest W. Boldt, 60, owner of the Boldt Milling Company and for many years a prominent businessman of this place died Friday afternoon. In addition to living in Waynetown, Mr. Boldt was once a resident of Crawfordsville. During that time he was associated with his father, T.H. Boldt, in the milling business at the Valley Mill there. The deceased was born June 15, 1876 in Terre Haute, the son of Mr. and Mrs. T.H. Boldt. He was married in 1900. Mr. Boldt was a member of the Lutheran Church at Terre Haute and the Masonic and IOOF Lodges. Mr. Boldt was in the milling business for over 40 years. The deceased was highly respected in Waynetown and Montgomery County, where he was widely known. His death was attributed to a complication of diseases with which he has suffered for some time. The widow, Mrs. Stella K. Boldt, one son, Ernest Boldt, Jr, both of Waynetown and two daughters, Mrs. Errett Bowman, Daleville and Mrs. Robert Landis, Attica, survive. Also surviving are the deceased's father, T.H. Boldt of Loranger, LA; one sister, Mrs. Frieda Rader of Kakauna, Wis; four half sisters, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Clyde McCullough of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Gordon Wilhite of Indianapolis and Mrs. Dewey Cleveland of Boston, Mass and two grandchildren. The body was brought to Shuler & Grenard Funeral Home late Saturday and will be removed to the family home Sunday morning. Services will be held at the residence at 1:30 o'clock Monday afternoon, in charge of Rev. Charles J. Bunnell, of Franklin, assisted by Rev. I.C. Overman, local pastor. Burial will be made in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. - kbz
