Jewel F Boland, 54, of Danville,
Ill., died at 7:40 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 1996 at USMC, Logan Campus,
Danville, Ill. Born Aug. 9, 1941, in Danville, Ill., she was a daughter of
Eldon E. and Fern A. (Richter) Moreman. She married Charles Boland Oct. 16,
1971, at Lake Tahoe, Nev. He survives. Also surviving, are: two daughter, Donna
M. Smith of Champaign, Ill. and Susan E. Perkins of Covington; one son, L. Cpl.
Lance Boland, USMC, and his wife of two months, Rachel, of Danville, Ill.; two
step-daughters, Lori Donohue of Bozeman, Mont. and Rhonda Boland of Cayuga; one
sister, Nancy N. Strawser of Covington; her mother, Fern A. Moreland of
Danville; and five grandchildren, Michael Willis of Danville, Christopher,
Bryan, Jeremy and Sara Donohue, all of Bozeman Mont. She was preceded in death
by her father. She was a registered nurse at VA Medical Center extended care
unit. She was a graduate of Lakeview: School of Nursing, where she received the
Meeks English Award. She was a member of the Lakeview Nurses Alumni
Association. She enjoyed flower gardening and pets. Visitation was one hour
prior to service on Friday. Rev. David Garver officiated. Interment in Stearns
Cemetery, Fithian. – jlr
