BOGGS, Ostie L. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Mrs. Thomas Freas of Veedersburg was called to Ohio last week by the death of her maternal grandfather, Ostie L. Boggs of Bladensburg, Ohio.

Mr. Boggs, age 79, retired plumber and farmer, died last Saturday morning following a sudden heart attack.  He had resided in the Bladensburg area ten years, formerly living in Newark, Ohio. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.  Burial was in Bladensburg Cemetery.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Boggs, one son, Clair of Arcadia, California, one daughter, Mrs. Ivan Davidson of Bladensburg.  He was preceded in death by two sons and one daughter, Helen May Boggs Huggins, mother, of Mrs. Freas.

While Mrs. Freas was in Ohio, Dr. Freas aunt, Mrs. James Goodrich of Granville died and funeral services were held Friday in Granville, Ohio.  - jz
