BOGART, Theodore Francis

Retired Major General Theodore Francis Bogart of Crofton, Virginia, age 76, died in Walter Reed Hospital at Washington, D. C. He was born at Rockford, Illinois, the son of H. F. and Eva Bogart, and was married to Eleanor Musk, who survives.
Bogart served 35 years with the Army. He was a graduate of the Military Academy at West Point in 1930 and graduated from Infantry School Company Officers course in 1934. Military awards included the Distinguished Service Medal, Legion of Merit with an Oak Leaf Cluster, Bronze Star and the Order of the British Empire.
Also surviving are a son, Theodore F. Jr. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; a sister, Mrs. Earl Werner of Wichita Falls, Texas; two brothers, Kenneth of Indianapolis and Herbert of Covington; three grandchildren and a great grandson.
Burial was in Arlington National Cemetery. ā thanks so much to āSā
