Perry Bogan, a former well known Veedersburg resident died Monday at his home in Bedford, Virginia. Mr. Bogan was a veteran of WWI and had been in ill health several years. As a young man he was associated with his brother in the ice and transfer business in Veedersburg. He was born in Veedersburg Nov 19, 1894 a son of Alonzo and Otha Robinson Bogan. He was married to Beatrice Goshay who survives. Also surviving are two sons, Richard of Indianapolis and Robert of Oshkosh, Wisconsin; a sister, Mrs. Myrta Holmes of Indianapolis and three grandchildren. He was a member of Veedersburg Evangelical United Brethren Church. The body was returned Wednesday morning to the Fishero Funeral Home in Veedersburg for Thursday afternoon funeral services with Rev. SJ Pritchard officiating. Burial was in the Rockfield cemetery.
