BODLE, Everett - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Everett R. Bodle, 88, Rt 2, Brookston, died at 7:30 p.m. Saturday (Oct 29,1979) in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette, where he had been a patient 4 weeks. He spent most of his life in Davis Township of Fountain County where he was a farmer Mr. Bodle was a member of Riverview United Methodist Church of Independence and Sons of Union Veterans. He was born May 7, 1891 in Fountain County, a son of James W. and Rebecca Bethel Bodle. He attended Davis Twp schools He married Dec 12, 1912 at Attica to the former Ruth Cain, who died April 21, 1974. He married Nov 30, 1974 at Lafayette the former Florence L. Kenworthy, who survives. Other survivors are a son, Ralph Bodle of Wet Point, Ind; a daughter, Mrs. Leonard (Mary Margaret Wagner of Logansport; a sister, Mrs. Rae Beever of Ft. Myers, Fla; a brother, Raymond Bodle of Lafayette; 11 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. He was precede in death by a son, two sisters and a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Maus Funeral Home at Attica with Pastor William Heinrich officiating. Burial in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. Friends may call 5-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
