BODINE, Richard - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington - Richard L. Bodine, 86, retired farmer and life resident of Fountain County died at 7:15 a.m. Sunday in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Danville, Ill, where he had been a patient six days. A son of Lew Wallace and Arabella Grimes Bodine, he was born Jan 11, 1884 in Wabash Twp. He was married to Miss Ida Mae Mallory, who died March 18, 1946. Mr. Bodine moved into Covington in 1950. Surviving are a daughter, MRs. Louise Adams of Crawfordsivlle 8 grandchildren, Mrs. Diana McCollough of C'ville; DOn Adams of Longmont, Col; Robert Keller US Navy in Vietnam; Mrs. Sina Hutson of Veedersburg, Jim, Jeff & Bill Bodine of Covington and Dick Bodine of Decatur, Ill 9 great grandchldren and nieces and nephews. Three daughters, a son and two brothers preceded Mr. Bodine in death. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tues at Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Miller the minister and burial in Mt. Hope.
