BODINE, Mont E. - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington, Ind. (CNS) - Mont E. Bodine, 89, of Robinson, Ill., and formerly of Covington, died at 10 a.m. yesterday (June 26, 1967) at Robinson Hospital where he had been hospitalized a month. Mr. Bodine was born in Wabash Township Dec. 11, 1877, the son of L. W. and Arabella Grimes Bodine. He married the former Jessie Romine of Covington. He had lived in Robinson approximately 60 years, where he was the owner of a hardware store and ran an installation furnace store. He is survived by his widow; a daughter, Mrs . Ralph Gussman of Akron, Ohio; two sons, Lew W. of Vallejo, Calif., and Mont Jr. and East Alton, Ill.; two brothers, Richard of Covington and Mahlam of Veedersburg; and five grandchildren. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Pulliam Funeral Home in Robinson with burial in Robinson Cemetery.
