BODINE, Jessie Foreman Romine - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON — Mrs. Jessie Bodine age about 85, of Robinson, Ill., a native and former resident of the Covington area, died Sunday afternoon, Dec. 31, in a nursing home in Robinson where she had been a patient the past four months. She had been in ill health for several years. Mrs. Bodine was graduated from Covington High School in 1901. She and her husband, the late Mont Bodine, had lived in Robinson for more than 60 years. He preceded his wife in death last June 1967. Mrs. Bodine was a sister to the late Earl and Enoch Romine of Covington. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Betty Gussman of Akron, Ohio; two sons, L. W. Bodine of Vallejo, Calif., and Mont Jr. of East Alton, Ill.; and five grandchildren. Richard L. Bodine of Covington and Mahlon Bodine of Veedersburg Rt. 2 are brothers-in-law. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 3, at a funeral home in Robinson. Burial was in a cemetery there.--waw
