Funeral services for Mrs. Maggie Blunt, age 75, a life resident of Wabash Twp., who died at 1:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 16, at her home on Covington Rt. 1, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home here. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiated and burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Blunt, who had been ill for the past month, was born Feb. 10, 1888, near Stringtown in Wabash Twp. She was the daughter of John and Sadie Gamble Spoonamore. She was married March 6, 1912 to Arthur Blunt, who survives. She was a member of the Perrysville Chapter 302, Order of Eastern Star. Surviving, in addition to the husband, are: one sister, Mrs. Gertrude Jones of Phoenix, Ariz.; two nieces and a nephew. She was preceded in death by a sister.
