BLUE, Elizabeth Rector - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Elizabeth Mary Blue of Covington, age 72, died Monday morning, August 23, in Lakeview Hospital at Danville, Illinois. She was born July 31, 1910, the daughter of Samuel and Birdie Coonse Rector. She first married Melvin Steers and later Guy Blue.

  Survivors include a son, Melvin E. Steers of Danville, Illinois; three half-sisters, Betty Hutson of Kingman, Retha VanLeer of Covington and Ruth Sandoval of Kansas; a half-brother, Richard Rector of Kansas; her stepmother, Hazel Ramer of Perrysville; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Bodine and Shelby Funeral Home in Covington. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery at Danville, Illinois. – thanks to S
