BLACKFORD, John Wesley - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

John Wesley Blackford of Waynetown died Tuesday from a complication of disease. He had been ill several weeks. Mr. Blackford was born Sept 30, 1848. He was a member of the Baptist Church and a highly respected citizen of the community in which he lived. He was a retired farmer. Surviving Mr. Blackford are his wife and two brothers: Charles of Hillsboro and Thomas of Wallace. The funeral was held from the Baptist Church Thursday morning at 10:30, Rev. PO Duncan in charge. -- kbz
