Kingman—Wilburn Blankenbeckler, 60, Kingman, died late Tuesday evening, Jan. 31, 1989, in his home. He had been in failing health for several months.
He was born March 25, 1928 in Kentucky, the son of Earl and Gladys Lambert Blankenbeckler. He married Sibble Baldridge, who survives.
He owned and operated sawmills in the Kingman area.
Surviving besides his wife are three sons, Danny and Lindza, both of Georgetown, Ill., and Tim, Lowell; five daughters, Mrs. Mike (Carolyn) Adrianse, White Cloud, Mich.; Mrs. Joey (Marge) Schefeke, Tangier, and Mrs. Allen (Teresa) Brown, Mrs. Tony (Lisa) Alexander and Mrs. Dennis (Debbie) Leak, all of Kingman; his mother and stepfather, Joe and Gladys Walls, Bloomingdale; three brothers, Donnie, Hammond, and Bill and Ranzel, Pontiac, Ill.; five sisters, Marie Myers, Bloomingdale; Rita Good, Marshall; Irene Sadler, Rockville, and Pauline Arnold and Mary Slusher, both of Morehead, Ky.; 19 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, two sons and a brother.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Friday in Woodrow Funeral Home, Kingman, with Kenneth Majors officiating. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. – thanks to s
