BLACKENBECKLER, James V.

James V. Blankenbeckler of Kingman, age 48, died Friday morning, July 9, in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. He was born at Morehead, Kentucky, September 19, 1933, the son of Early and Gladys Lambert Blankenbeckler. November 28, 1953, he married Joyce Fultz, who survives. A member of Cooper’s Chapel, Blankenbeckler was engaged in the lumber business for several years in the Kingman area.

  Also surviving are four daughters, Kathy Contreras of Donna, Texas, Connie Lang of Tangier, Wilma and Anita, both at home; four sons, Jimmy Ray, Douglas, Marty and James Allen, all at home; his mother of Kingman; five sisters, Irene Sadler and Rita Goodman of Rockville, Dorothy Slusher of Morehead, Pauline Arnold of Detroit, Michigan, and Marie Carr of Marshall; four brothers, Eugene and Donald of Kingman, Ranzel and Bill of Pontiac, Illinois; and five grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Woodrow Funeral Home in Kingman with Rev. Max Paddock officiating. Burial was in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. – thanks to S
