George K. Black of RR 4, Veedersburg, age 66, died Tuesday morning, March 31, in University Hospital at Indianapolis. He was born in Fountain County, July 12, 1914, the son of George and Hattie Wilson Black. August 4, 1946, he married Evelyn Leborer, who survives. A graduate of Adrian College t Adrian, Michigan, he served as a weather observer with the Army Air Force. Black was a member of Osborn Prairie Church and Farm Bureau.
Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Bryson of Kalkaska, Michigan; a son, David of New Albany; two brothers, Rovert (*Robert) of Danville, Illinois, and John of Columbus, Ohio; and one granddaughter, Lorna Bryson of Kalkaska.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Parham Funeral Home in Veedersburg. Burial will be in Osborn Prairie Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. today (Thursday). – thanks to S
