BLACK, Eddie Everett - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

WILLIAMSPORT - Eddie Everett Black, age 83, of Williamsport Rt. 1, a resident of the Warren County Home, died Sunday, Feb. 2, at 12:45 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette. He was born July 12, 1885, in Warren County, the son of George and Russie Elizabeth Walls Black. Surviving are: one daughter, Mrs. Ethel Simmerman of Williamsport Rt. 2; two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Dunning and Mrs. Mabel Jones, both of Danville, and a foster sister, Mrs. Esta Kirkpatrick of Covington Rt. 2. He was preceded in death by one son. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Crowmer & Siddens Funeral Home. The Rev. Rex Marrs officiated and burial was in the Masonic Cemetery at State Line.
