BIXLER, Debra Opperman - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

ATTICA — Debra Rochelle (Opperman) Bixler, 45, died at 8:17 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2002 in St. Vincent Williamsport Hospital. She was born Nov. 8, 1956 in Williamsport, the daughter of Donald W. and Bonnie L. Fishel Opperman. She married Rick L. Bixler Aug. 25, 1979 in Attica. He survives. She was a life resident of the Attica area. She graduated from Attica High School in 1975. She attended the Riverview United Methodist Church in Independence. Survivors, besides the husband, include: her parents of Attica; a son, Josh E. Bixler and a daughter, Joni L. Bixler, both of Attica; two sisters, Linda Suzanne (Bruce) Clinton, Lafayette and DeNelda (Colin) Niemiec, Brasilia, Brazil, South America; a brother, Warren (fiance Barbara) Opperman, St. John; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were at 7:30 p.m. Monday with the Rev. Dan Jordan officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Independence Cemetery. – jlr
