BITELER, Maude M. Johnson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Covington – Maude M. Johnson Biteler, 93, died at 6:40 p.m. Tuesday Dec 25, 2001 at The Waters of Covington, where she had been a resident for the past six years.  She was born in Bessemer, Gogebic County, Michigan.  She had lived in St. Paul and Chicago before moving to the West Lebanon area in 1949.  She married Royal C. Biteler, a tool and due maker in Flint, Michigan on Aug 30, 1930 and died Oct 20, 1996.  Mrs. Biteler was a homemaker and  helped her husband operate Biteler & Sons Machine Shop of rural West Lebanon.  She was  a member of the Second Church of Christ in Danville, Ill and was a former member of the West Lebanon Christian Church.  Surviving are a daughter, Jane Bonneville (husband, Frank) of Danville, Calif and a son, Cornelius R. Biteler (wife Jean) of Ellenwood, GA.  Services will be Monday in Danville, Illinois.
