Mrs. Pearl Birge of Hillsboro died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday morning. Survivors are the husband, George Birge and two daughters, Mrs. Opal Trotter, of Portland and Mrs. Berniece Beauchamp of Lafayette; three grandsons and 7 great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Crumley Funeral Home where services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, The Rev. John Kirkpatrick will officiate with burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

The Rev. John Kirkpatrick of Fowler, formerly of Hillsboro was assisted by Rev. Kenneth Veters local Methodist minister in conducting the funeral service of Mrs. Pearl Birge who died early Thursday morning. The service was held at Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro at 10:30 Saturday morning. Instrumental music was by Mrs. Maxine Bever and those serving as pall bearers were; Lyron Ford; Marion Osburn, Robert Bever, Orlie Winger, Dorman Winger and Ernest Myer. Floral tributes were carried by Elaine and Judy Bever, Mary Jo Winger, Lois Summers, Julia Kay, Margaret Cronk, Iva Hightower, Mary Lou Priebe, Mary Graves, Mary McCutchan, Fauneil Colson, Ruby Boone, Ruth Ford and Mary Rusk. Burial was in Rose hill Cemetery, Hillsboro. â kbz

Funeral service for Mrs. Anna L. Bean, 71, who died at her home in Cayuga Thursday were held from the Christian Church in Cayuga Sunday afternoon with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Mrs. Bean is survived by her husband John Bean; two sisters, five stepdaughters, Mrs. Hazel Summers, Mrs. Ruby Nickle and Mrs. Grace Nickle all of Hillsboro; Mrs. Gladys Watson of Hillsdale and Mrs. Ruth Nickle of Mellott; three stepsons John Vernon Bean of Gessie; Fred Bean of Indianapolis and Harley Bean of Waveland. âkbz
