Covington – Mrs. Louise C. Bilsland, 91, died early Thursday in Covington Man, where she had been a patient five years. Born east of Covington, she was a graduate of Covington HS and attended St. Mary of the Woods College. She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Covington, DAR, Womans Club, Booklovers, Wabash Valley Garden Club and Alpha Gamma Associate Chapter of Kappa Kappa Kappa. She had resided at Covington most of her life, except from 1930-43 when she lived in West Lafayette. In 1910 she was married to Henry N. Bilsland who died in 1952. He was manager of International Harvester while they resided at West Lafayette. The family has owned Bilsland Implement Co at Covington since 1943. There are no immediate survivors. - kbz
