Mrs. Lorraine Biggs, 53, of Danville Route 5 (Brewer Road), died at 7:55 a.m. Sunday (March 3, 1974) at St. Elizabeth Hospital shortly after being admitted. She had worked at Phillips Laundry, and for the last six years had worked as a baker at the General Electric Co. canteen. She was born Jan. 16, 1921, in Danville, the daughter of Frank S. and Mary Wallen Gray. She married Maurice Biggs Feb. 3, 1948, in Williamsport, Ind., and he survives. She was preceded in death by her parents and a step-brother. Her hobbies were cooking and reading. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pape Memorial Home. The Rev. George Powell will officiate, and burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
