Funeral services for Walter BEVER who died at the home of his niece, Mrs Vora Keller of SE of Hillsboro Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock was held from the Prairie Chapel Church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Mr. Bever had been in poor health for the past few years and a few weeks ago was removed from the home of his brother, John P. Bever in Newport to the St. Elizabeth Hospital, Danville. Ten days before his death he was taken to the home of Mrs. Keller and gradually grew worse until the end. The Rev. Will H. Newlin of Crawfordsville had charge of the services and a male quarter composes of Walter and Paul Long; Henry and Russell Moffett sang. The pall bearers were: Harry, Howard and Henry Myers; G. R. Pitman; Tom Hightower and Harvey Bever and the flower bearers were Evelyn Long and Bernice Bounell. Burial made in Rockfield Cemetery
