BEVER, Stanley - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro -- Stanley Bever, 77, a retired farmer who resided south of here, died at 8 a.m. Thursday in Tall Trees Nursing Home at Covington. Mr. Bever was a member of Scotts Prairie Christian Church and had attended Hillsboro school. He was born near Hillsboro April 18, 1893, a son of Henry L. and Isabell Leonard Bever. He was first married to Mary Lou Coffing who preceded him in death. He was married in 1957 to Velma Chapman. Surviving along with his widow are three sons, Dale M. of near Hillsboro and Darrell H. and Glen S., both of Covington; a brother, Hobart of Winter Park, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home here with Rev. Harry Hybarger officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday.
