BEVER, Ruby May - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Powell, Wyo – Ruby May Bever, 81, died Monday in Powell Nursing Home. She was born June 29, 1894 in Wallace, Ind a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elliott Philpott. She married Ora Eston Bever June 5, 1913 in Billings. They lived on a homestead at Garland. Her husband died in 1966 in Powell. She was a past matron of Eastern Star and a Gold Star Mother. Her son, Robert Bever was shot down while on a bombing mission over Formosa during WWII.  She was also a member of Epasc, White Shrine, Daughters of the Nile and the American Legion Auxiliary.  Survivors include a daughter, Mary Elaine Housel of Cody, and a son, James Phil Bever of Powell; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be at 2 pm. Thursday in Union Presbyterian Church, Powell, The Rev. C William Hassler will officiate. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery Easton’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
