Hillsboro - Robert Earl Bever, Sr, 48 of San mateo, Fla died at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday in the Veteran's Medical Center to Gainsville, Fla. He was a polygrapher operator for the Florida Polygraph Service at Palatka, Fla for aobut two years. He worked as a polygraph operator at Oletha, kan before moving to Florida and was the Chief of Police at Noblesville. He served in the US marine Corps 1956-62. Mr. Bever was born Jan 28, 1937 at Hillsboro, a son of Bronson Earl and Edith Mae Curran Bever. Survivors include his wife, karen of San Mateo; his parents, Mr. and mrs. Bronson Bever of Crawfordsville; a son, Robert E. Jr. of RIchmond; two daughters, Kayse of Richmond and Terri Baker of Indianapolis; a brother, Edward of Aletha, kan and four grandchildren. Graveside services will be 3 p.m Thursday in San Mateo Cemetery.
