Newton Bever, one of the teachers of the Newtown schools, died suddenly Monday morning at home. It appears that Mr. Bever, who had been in bad health for some time, became ill at school on Friday and fell on the stone steps. He was taken home, but was not thought to be in a serious condition. His wife woke up about midnight Sunday night, and attempted to wake him, but could not. She called her brother, who was in the next room and sent for the doctor., but he could not be aroused and died about 3 o'clock. Newt as he was called was loved by all who knew him and had been married but a short time. Obituary will appear next week.
