BEVER, Leo - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Hillsboro March 2 - Leo Bever, east of Hillsboro died at his home at 2 o'clock Thursday morning from a heart ailment and complications.  Mr. Bever had been in declining health for some months.  Born east of Hillsboro, the son of Matt and Janet Brand Bever, Mr. Bever had resided in this community his entire life time. He was born March 28, 1882 and would have reached his 62nd birthday this month.  Mr. Bever was married 36 years ago to Stella Conner who resided in Illinois. The widow, three daughters and one son survive. The daughters are: Mrs. Opal Stock of Connecticut; Mrs. Sarah Huffman, Detroit, Mich and Mrs. Lavonia O'Nell, Danville, Ill. The son, Gilbert Bever, lives near Hillsboro. Mr. Bever is also survived by one sister, Mrs. Hallie Loper of Dayton, Ohio and six grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will remain incomplete until word is received from the daughters. - kz
