BEVER, Joseph - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Joseph Bever of Columbia, Missouri, age 89, died December 26, in Columbia Regional Hospital. He was born at Hillsboro, December 18, 1892, the son of Albert and Florence Deet Bever. October 8, 1922, he married Blanche Asbury, who died in 1969. Mr. Bever had worked as a car inspector for the Chicago and eastern Illinois Railroad for many years before retiring in 1967.

  Survivors include two sons, Robert of Baldwin, Missouri, and Rod of Columbia; three sisters, Mary Allen, Ellen Morehouse and Ruth Bever, all of Veedersburg; two brothers, Harvey of Danville, Illinois, and Charley of Covington; and five grandchildren.

  Memorial services were held at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Columbia with Rev. Roy Smith officiating. – thanks so much to “S”
