John F. Bever, 73, father of Glen Bever of Rt. 1, Crawfordville, died at his home in Hunter, Mo., Thursday evening. He was a former resident of Crawfordsville and a native of Fountain County. Born near Wallace in Fountain County Sept. 17, 1892, he was the son of Perry and Ida Bever. He was reared in the Wallace area and attended Wallace schools. Survivors in addition to the one son include the widow; two other sons, Paul Bever of Carmichael Calif., and Roy Lee Bever at home; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Campton of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services and burial will be in Van Buren, Mo.
