James L. Bever, formerly of Hillsboro, age 69, died Monday noon, January 25, in the Veterans Hospital at Danville, Illinois. He was born near Hillsboro, June 13, 1912, the son of Levi and Myra Porter Bever. An Army veteran of World War II, he had attended Hillsboro United Methodist Church and Hillsboro High School.
Surviving are a brother, Robert of Hillsboro; a sister, Bernice DeFlorio of Villa Park, Illinois; nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held this morning (Thursday) at Crumley-Williams Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Rev. Thomas Inabinett officiating. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. – thanks so much to “S”
