BEVER, Catherine Brant - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

Waynetown, March 26 - Mrs. Catherine Bever, age 84, succumbed to complications at 3 o'clock Thursday afternoon at her farm home three miles west of Waynetown. She was born March 29, 1851 the daughter of Christopher and Martha J. Rider Brant, and would have been 85 years old Sunday.  Mrs. Bever was the widow of James Bever, Civil War veteran, who died 18 years after their marriage 36 years ago. She is survived by one niece, Mrs. Albert Livengood whose home adjoins Mrs. Bever's on State Road 34, west of Waynetown. Her health had been declining for the past three years and she had been seriously ill for three weeks. The body was taken to the Shular and Grenard Funeral parlor and later removed to Mrs. Livengood's home. Burial will be from the Baptist Church of Waynetown of which Mrs. Bever was a member. Services wilkl take place Sunday at 2 o'clock and Mrs. Bever will be buried at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery - kz
