BESSELL, Kathryn Wilson - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

VEEDERSBURG – Mrs. Kathryn Bessell, 62, of Rt. 4, Veedersburg, retired treasurer of Southeast Fountain Community School Corp., died this morning in Lakeview Medical Center at Danville, Ill. She was the insignia director and a member of the Indiana Hikers and Campers Association. Mrs. Bessel was a member of the Hub Nuts Camping Club and Hillsboro Christian Church. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School. She was born at Hillsboro on May 31, 1914, a daughter of Clyde and Bertha Bowman Wilson. She married Lloyd Bessell in 1941 at Mendota, Mo. Surviving are her husband; a sister, Mrs. Jim (Ruth) McCutchon of Veedersburg; and two brothers, Edgar Wilson of Crawfordsville and Lloyd Wilson of Veedersburg. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Crumley-Williams Funeral Home at Hillsboro with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-9 p.m. Tuesday.
