Margaret G. Bentley, 69, Rt 4, Veedersburg died at 1:09 a.m. Monday Oct 20 at the Covington Manor Health Care Center. She had been in ill health the past 3 years. She had been a resident of Covington Manor for the last month and a half. She was born Jan 30, 1917, in Indiana, the daughter of Ora & Edith Stonebraker. She married James William Bentley on May 30, 1942. He preceded her in death. She had worked at Marshall Studios in Veedersburg for several years and ATI in Danville many years. She was a life resident of Veedersburg. Surviving are two sons, James Gordon Bentley and Frederick Joe Bentley of Veedersburg; 3 sisters, Doris Bunnel, Dorene Stonebraker and Frances Ward, all of Veedersburg; a brother, Harry Stonebraker, Indianapolis, 4 grandchildren and a great grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Parham Golden Rule Funeral Home, Veedersburg. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery, Veedersburg.
