BELLES, Edna Hegg - Fountain County INGenWeb Project

COVINGTON, Ind. (CNS) — Mrs. Edna M. Belles, 81, a former Covington resident, died at 1:10 p.m. Sunday (Aug. 12, 1973) at a Logansport hospital where she had been a patient 10 years. Born Dec. 12, 1891 in Covington, she was the daughter of Albert and Hannah Ellis Hegg. She was married to John Belles who preceded her in death. Survivors include three nephews, Albert Hegg and Harold Hegg both of Covington, and James Hegg of Memphis, Tenn.; and a niece, Mrs. Christine Gross of Covington. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a stepson. Mrs. Belles was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church of Covington. Services will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Donald B. Vernon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be after 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Hegg Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
